Pre-birth tests indicated that Braden would be born with Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, and Arnold Chiari II malformation. Braden underwent his first of 16 surgeries just hours after he was born, and his most recent surgery caused him to spend 37 days in the Simon Family Tower at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. Braden faces life-long medical challenges, and will receive continuous surgeries but that doesn't stop his contagious spirit and desire to give back.
